Naturopathic doctors complete four years of post-graduate medical school, covering biomedical sciences, clinical diagnosis, and pharmacology—just like MDs. The key difference is that our training also includes nutrition, herbal medicine, lifestyle counseling, and mind-body therapies. We’re trained to see the whole picture and prioritize root-cause healing, not just symptom relief.
-
Naturopathic medicine is guided by six core principles:
First, do no harm
Treat the whole person
Identify and treat the root cause
Use the healing power of nature
Doctor as teacher
Prevention is the best medicine
Instead of chasing symptoms, we work to uncover the deeper imbalances—physical, emotional, or lifestyle-based—that may be contributing to what you’re experiencing. The result? A more holistic, sustainable path to healing.

Every treatment plan is tailored to you. That might include herbal medicine, supplements, nutrition and lifestyle shifts, nervous system support, or lab testing. I’ll always explain your options and we’ll decide together what makes the most sense. I also schedule follow-ups to support your progress and adjust as needed.
